The Meaning

Photography is something that I've been intrigued by since I was a child.Baskets of undeveloped film and disposable cameras could always be found in my room.

For some reason I just found it so interesting that with a single click you can frame, cut, or paste a piece of time.

There are trials and tragedies in every life and mine is certainly no exception. And its because I've seen my share of grief that I really value the 'snapshots' of joyful times I have. I just love the idea that I can literally look at a picture, turn on a song, and I'm thrown back to my chubby cheeked, free loving self.

There are many different meanings to each picture taken.

Destructive Beauty

   Shooting is such a destructive hobby, one that I'm not particularly in favor of. But after the repetitive dim lights and all the elevators that I see everyday, the idea of driving deep into the country seemed slightly appealing. The drive down was so beautiful, so serene, I couldn't help but love the whole trip.

  Now that my brain can't seem to get enough of capturing moments, I definitely want to go back (even if we don't go shooting ;]).
